Catalyst is ECU’s premier faculty engagement program, dedicated to supporting, elevating, and showcasing mutually beneficial, multi-stakeholder initiatives that engage partners from the community, industry, the military, and higher education.

Catalyst builds on the success of the Engagement and Outreach Scholars Program, positioning ECU faculty as regional leaders in public impact and innovation.

This 18-month long fellowship provides faculty with funding, professional development, and structured support to design and lead high-impact, multi-partner community-engaged projects.
