Small Business and Technology Development Center

The Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) has helped North Carolina businesses grow and create new jobs since 1984. The SBTDC provides management counseling and educational services to small and mid-sized businesses. Most of the SBTDC services are free of charge, and all are confidential. By providing entrepreneurs with the tools they need to build and grow successful businesses, the SBTDC positively impacts NC’s economy. With a lead center located in Raleigh, NC, the SBTDC operates 10 regional service centers in 15 total offices. The SBTDC at East Carolina University serves the counties of Craven, Beaufort, Carteret, Edgecombe, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, Pamlico, Pitt, Wayne and Wilson.
