RAF – Research Administrators Forum

What is RAF?

Formerly known as the Research Administration Information Network (RAIN), RAF is designed to connect research administrators at ECU and update them on issues related to research administration – locally, regionally, and nationally. Membership is open to all university personnel who have a role in administering sponsored projects. Send an e-mail to ora@ecu.edu for additional information.

RAF Meetings

RAF Meetings are held monthly – usually on the first Tuesday of the month during the academic year. These meetings are held virtually on MS Teams. At each meeting, relevant topics are introduced and discussed by attendees. Questions, comments, and new areas for discussion are welcome.

Communications

RAF members are included in Grant Alerts sent by REDE whenever relevant new information is available.

RAF in MS Teams

Most other activity related to RAF takes place in Microsoft Teams. This includes meetings, agenda storage, posts and updates, and member listings. If you would like to be added to the RAF Team, send a request to join through Teams or email ora@ecu.edu.
