The Office of Licensing and Commercialization was originally founded in 1998. Since that time ECU has reviewed over 800 inventions, brought in more than $8.1 million in gross income, assisted researchers in obtaining over $2.5 million in commercialization grant funding, and helped startups attract more than $30 million in outside investments.
