Research Summary
My research area focused on agricultural biotechnology and crop improvement using transgenic and targeted genome editing approach to improve crop productivity and yield. Current activities include targeted genome editing using CRISPR-Cas9 technology for improvement of cotton oil yield, quality, and other agronomic traits. I am interested in collaborating and serving the plant science community with my experiences in genome editing and plant tissue culture.
