RAIN Invite and Feedback
This note serves two purposes related to RAIN – the Research Administrator’s Information Network – here at ECU.
First, if you have been attending RAIN meetings, we wanted to give you a chance to offer feedback on the format and content of those meetings. See the feedback form at the link below:
Second, if you have NOT been attending RAIN meetings, we wanted to make sure you were aware of them and invite you to attend. In brief, they are monthly video conferences via MS Teams where all sorts of issues related to research administration and sponsored programs are discussed. The meetings are always on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm – the next one is 25 August.
If you would like an invite to the Teams call, just reply to this e-mail.
The Research Administrator’s Information Network (RAIN) is an open forum for ECU personnel interested in research administration issues. There are monthly RAIN meetings, a Microsoft Team, Grant Alerts, and these monthly issues e-mail. For more information, please send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
