90-Day Notifications

Automated notifications (from ecuBIC) will be sent out to investigators and research administrators 90 days ahead of the end of a project period and/or the project end date. 90-day notifications have been in place for some time, but they have been revised to make them more accurate and more useful.

90-Days to End of Budget Period

This notification takes advantage of recent adjustments in how grant end dates are listed in Banner. There are now separate dates for the end date of the current budget period versus the end date of the overall project. This notification will arrive 90 days ahead of the end of a non-final budget period. It will provide guidance on preparing for an additional funding period when the project is projected to continue.

90-Days to End of Project (Closeout)

This notification is already in place but should now arrive more precisely during the final period of the project (replaced by the notification above in earlier periods). This notification provides guidance on preparing for project closeout.

Improved Notification Targeting

Substantial work has gone into associating specific personnel as the research administrators associated with specific projects. Automated notifications, therefore, will be sent directly to the personnel managing the project.
