The goal of licensing and commercialization is to translate ECU research, scholarship and creative works into needed products and jobs to positively affect the future of the region and beyond. By leveraging ECU’s broad-based research excellence, we drive innovation and entrepreneurial growth. Growing this ecosystem allows us to identify key innovations coming from our laboratories and classrooms, partner with industry experts, and produce new products and services for real-world applications to drive prosperity throughout the east, North Carolina, and the world at large.
