Student Research

ECU has made a commitment to graduate the greatest number of students in North Carolina who experience a mentored research project. This type of experience is invaluable as students gain important career and life skills including working on a project team, project management and professional communications. We also believe that research aids students to better conceptualize theory taught in the classroom into real-world applications. Finally, in many cases ECU is able to financially support our students through research grants, thus reducing student debt.
