Sponsored Awards

ECU has made a commitment to be in the Top 3 of all UNC System institutions in sponsored awards. This includes new and continuation awards for research, clinical trials, creative activities, outreach and engagement (sponsored awards), and professional service contracts (service awards). Interdisciplinary research projects are indicative of our efforts to maximize faculty expertise from across the university to better address pressing issues facing our region and nation. Note that the awards shown will vary in their funding duration, depending on the funding agency. We report on funds awarded and received. Some multi-year awards are given all at once, and some are given in annual increments.
