OMB Updates Administrative Relief Provisions

The Office of Management and Budget has extended some of their Administrative Relief provisions – specifically the ongoing charging of salaries and benefits to active federal awards. This extension runs through 30 September 2020. Please see the notice linked below.

The remaining relief provisions described in OMB memo M-20-11 remain in effect through July 26 2020. Key provisions relevant to individual  federal awards include:

• Pre-Award Costs
• Automatic No-Cost Extensions
• Federal Agency ability to waive prior approval requirements
• Extension of Financial Report deadlines
