Financial Services Workshop

Join us at the Financial Services Workshop for status updates on research administration issues. This year’s topics include identifying and justifying “questionable costs” charged to sponsored programs; importance of monitoring/managing subrecipients; financial management tools (and what to do with them).

The CMSI session is on Thursday, 21 April, at 11:00.

New Awards with Delayed Research Subject Approval

Under most circumstances, ORA will not open Banner funds without documentation of IRB or IACUC approval of the project. When appropriate, a grant fund may be established without these approvals if certain conditions are met.

April RAIN Meeting – 27 April

The April RAIN meeting will take place on 27 April – e-mail CMSI if you need an invitation.

The Research Administrator’s Information Network (RAIN) is an open forum for ECU personnel interested in research administration issues. There are monthly RAIN meetings, a Microsoft Team, Grant Alerts, and these monthly issues e-mail. If you would like to be included in RAIN meetings and receive additional RAIN information, click here.
