ECU Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Regulation
East Carolina University has provided regulations covering the definitions, policies, procedures and responsibilities for the authorization and operations of unmanned aircraft systems at on campus. The purpose of the regulation is to mitigate any risks to individuals and organizations potentially affected by unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations; ensure compliance with federal, state,= and local laws, as well as regulations and contracts; and enable scholarship.
Please contact Jim Menke with the Office of National Security and Industry Initiatives for questions about UAS operations.
